What Makes The World Go 'Round

Love is such a wild and crazy thing. Without it, the world would not revolve. It's a psychotic feeling to be in love. Every moment with the person you love, you treasure. Every word they speak, you remember. Every second apart, you miss them. Their heart beat, becomes your favorite song. Their voice becomes the most relaxing sound in the world. Their kiss becomes your every desire. You begin to cherish every moment you get to hold them. You see the world in a completely new way. It's like you were blind-folded before you were with this person. Love is such an unknown feeling, many people are scared to believe that they are in love. In the end, nothing becomes a better feeling, than believing you are in love. Knowing what love is, is simply impossible. Everybody has their own idea of love. If everyone could forget about war, and just love each other, the world would be a much better place. Love is what every girl dreams of, and what every guy works for. With enough effort from one boy and one girl, they can create love. If people could just let another in, and trust someone, the world would be filled with love and laughter. Love is scary, and hard. But what is life without a little suspense? What is life without some work? What is life without knowing ones boundaries? Life is full of love everyday. Open your eyes, and let someone love you back.

Unknown Feeling

The barrier between who I am,
and who I could be.
Who I want to be is just so far out of reach.
Feels like every time I even get close,
it's raised another 50 feet.
And I have to work harder and harder
to reach what I want.
Scared.
Nervous.
Fighting.
This unknown feeling.
Slowly, picking my road to get through the barrier.
Winding road it shall be.
But I'll get passed it.

Fire

Fighting through the fire.
Pushing through with all my strength.
Finding all the will I can to keep going.
Using all my power, to keep fighting.
Start losing hope,
And seeing you, brings it all back.
Fighting for who I am, and who I want to be.
How the fire burns.
How the fire leaves scars.
How my mind is so troubled.
But I know it's worth the fight.
Worth the pain.
Worth every scar.

Maybe one day it will happen.

The Journey

One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting their bad advice.
Though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
"Mend my life!" each voice cried.
But you didn't stop.
You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations
though their melancholy was terrible.
It was already late
enough, and a wild night,
and the road full of fallen
branches and stones.
But little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice,
which you slowly
recognized as your own,
that kept you company
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world,
determined to do
the only thing you could do.
